One Year, Four First-Round Finishes: Alex "The Most Educated" Preissing Faces Chas Dunhour at RUF 71
He turned pro on last year's Dia de Los Muertos card. He has not seen a second round since.
PHOENIX, AZ, October 14, 2026. Alex "The Most Educated" Preissing made his pro debut at RUF 65, the 2025 Dia de Los Muertos show. One year later he returns to the same themed card at 4-0, every win inside the first round, every win in the RUF cage. On November 7 at RUF 71: Dia de Los Muertos he meets Chas Dunhour of Hawaii Elite MMA.
The Most Educated
Preissing has wrestled since he was five. He held the RUF amateur flyweight title and defended it over five rounds at RUF 62 before turning pro. He studied law at Arizona State while he fought. As a pro he has a Brabo choke, a rear-naked choke, a triangle in 66 seconds, and a TKO of Jean Tejena at RUF 69 in July. He fights out of Redhawk Academy in Peoria.
The Hawaiian
Dunhour (1-1) is a compact 5'5" flyweight whose last win was a second-round elbow knockout of Nate Yoshimura on a Bellator card in Hawaii in 2019. He went 3-1 as an amateur in Destiny MMA and KOTC. He has not fought since that Bellator night, so RUF 71 is a return as much as a debut. He brings Bellator experience and one-shot power to Phoenix.

Where the Fight Is Won
Preissing wants to take it down and find a neck early, the way he has four times. Dunhour's path is in close, where his elbow ended a Bellator fight. The longer Dunhour stays upright, the less the years away matter.
Also on the card: Preissing's last opponent, Jean Tejena, fights Jared Braun on the same card.
