PHOENIX, AZ, November 6, 2026. Gavin "G-Leathal" Leath has finished his last three opponents. On November 7 the MMA Lab featherweight makes his RUF debut at RUF 71: Dia de Los Muertos against Alejandro Quero-Lopez of Ixtapaluca, Mexico, in a pro bout at a 150-pound catchweight at the Celebrity Theatre.
G-Leathal
Leath (3-1) went 5-0 as an amateur on Flex Fight Series cards in New York, with a knockout, a TKO and an arm-triangle choke among those wins. As a pro he has won three straight inside the distance: a first-round TKO in October 2025, a second-round TKO in May, and a second-round arm-triangle choke in August. His only pro loss came in the third round in 2024. He is 25 and stands 5'7".
The Veteran
Quero-Lopez has more than a dozen pro fights across Mexico and the United States, including UWC Mexico and LUX Fight League cards. Four of his wins are finishes: two by knockout or TKO and two by rear-naked choke. His most recent win was a spinning backfist knockout in November 2025. He has fought in Phoenix before, at Fight Club PHX in April. At 5'10" he has three inches on Leath.
