In the main event, Tra’von “Wildman” Butler (4-1) will face Terrance “T-Bone” Jean-Jacques (7-3) in the Road to ONE tournament finals, with the winner set to receive a “six-figure contract” with ONE Championship, according to promotion officials.
Butler earned his spot in the tournament finale by finishing Corey Mullis via first-round TKO in the quarterfinals and then defeating Cameron Chism-Brungard by first-round submission in the semifinals.
As for Jean-Jacques, he beat Michael “The Brown Tiger” Quintero via unanimous decision in the quarterfinals and then finished previously undefeated Irvins Ayala via second-round TKO in the semifinals to take the other spot in the finale.
Whoever emerges victorious will join ONE Championship’s heavyweight division, which features the likes of ONE heavyweight world champion Arjan “Singh” Bhullar, undefeated ONE interim heavyweight world champion Anatoly Malykhin and Brazilian jiu-jitsu superstar Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida.
In addition, there will be five other matches on the pro card and seven bouts on the amateur card, all featuring some of the top prospects from the Southwest, and as far away as Hawaii.
